Consulting Manager
Primary responsibilities for a LeadVantage Consulting Manager include:
Partnering with client project team to develop and implement overall business improvement strategies
- Ability to use a variety of process improvement methodologies (e.g., current state analysis, root cause analysis, workflow diagrams, future state analysis, cost benefit analysis, organizational change management and design)
- Ability to convey a concise, convincing, fact-based and metrics driven business case to implement short and long term strategic objectives that achieve the client vision
- Ability to facilitate a client through the process of change and realize anticipated benefits
Managing all client engagements and project resources using a consistent, effective project management and coaching approach
- Ability to develop and manage work plans, stakeholder assessment and communication plans, risk and issue mitigation and resolution plans, status reports, and dashboards
- Ability to manage and mentor client and LeadVantage staff to deliver achievable results in a timely manner while understanding the broader implication of the effort on the overall organization
- Ability to coach on effective communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to deliver honest feedback to client and/or project team
Knowledge, Skills Required:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree and 8-10 years in business related discipline
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentations
- Customer focused; able to understand client needs and drivers and deliver exceptional results
- Broad project management experience; excellent short and long-term planning skills; able to work on small through large scale process improvement and organizational design projects
- Process and/or operations reengineering experience required; working knowledge of process improvement tools used within the industry
- Ability to document workflow diagrams, procedures and develop training to support a process improvement implementation
- Ability to work within a team environment and to promote the goals and objectives of the team
- Flexibility to adapt to client and/or project team needs
- Ability to work with, yet diplomatically challenge, all levels of staff and management
- Logical, organized thinking skills; strong analytical and time-management skills
- Understanding of overall organization design approaches including structure, roles, performance management, staff evaluation, skill development plans and compensation and incentive plans
- In-depth understanding of how technology is applied to business improvement initiatives as an enabling mechanism. Ability to plan and execute against technical life-cycle implementation stages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite software applications
- Six Sigma and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
