The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John C. Maxwell - September 16, 2008

Her husband had everything: wealth, privilege, position and a royal title. Yet instead of him, Princess Diana won over the whole world. Why? She understood the Law of Influence.
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni - September 16, 2008
Coaching, Books
Patrick Lencioni provides a very entertaining fable and an intriguing analysis of what makes teams work effectively. For example, dysfunction #2 is fear of conflict. Lencioni states that all great relationships, the ones that last over time, require productive conflict in order to grow. This is true in marriage, parenthood, friendship, and certainly business. Unfortunately, conflict is considered taboo in many situations, especially at work. And the higher you go up the management chain, the more you find people spending inordinate amounts of time and energy trying to avoid the kind of passionate debates that are essential to any great team.

Eye See You by Ryan Barnett - September 8, 2008
Coaching, Articles
The eyes, arguably the most important sense we possess, are often the most misused and misunderstood. For a minute, let’s think about the purpose of the eyes. The first, as we all know, is to see. What we see provides us with information on how to act. When you see your bus approaching, you get on. When you see a person you love, you embrace. The second purpose of the eyes, and often times the most overlooked, is to communicate. From rolling your eyes to squinting, gazing to looking away, many different messages are exuded from the simplest twitch of an eye.
Business Improvement: Trend or a Classic? by Eileen Koch - September 1, 2008
Business Improvement, Articles
You know that moment when you can’t decide if what you are wearing is still “in”. You think, of course it is. I’m hip. I’m young. Right? And then you suddenly realize that you’re not that young and not really that hip. Certain things are meant to be trends like leg warmers and Flash Dance sweatshirts. They have a short shelf life. However, other trends becomes classic and are immortalized forever like white polo shirts and the little black dress. What about Business Improvement? Was it a trend or has it evolved into a classic?
New Processes Critical for Growth by Eileen Koch - August 29, 2008
Business Improvement, Case Studies
Over a five-year period, the company went from 28 employees to over 150 employees with revenue from $11 million to over $103 million. Our client achieved this growth through its strong relationships with customers and vendor partners as well its employee base that provided superior customer service. Although our client enjoyed significant growth, it was at a crossroads as it attempted to double in size within the next 4 years.
